Zeros to Heroes

The Orioles have gone from one of the worst baseball teams in the league to one of the best and with each win, more fans show up for their home games in Camden Yards. The people of Baltimore have regained their reason to take pride in Camden Yards. When people thought of Camden Yards they used to only think of its historical importance, however the O's domination has brought a rejuvenation of the stadium, transforming it into something to be feared by the opposing teams and something reuniting its community. Camden Yards is no longer just historic, its making history.

  2. i like how you showed how the community gets involved in making this place historic and how the team is continually building and making history. I think you could have added more about why it is important to you and what role it plays in your life. Also maybe add something about that the field and the environment showing why people have fun there and how baseball games impact people's lives.

  3. SOOOO true! As a long time O's fan, this is the first season I have been able to witness a winning season. This year, we get to make the memories instead of hearing about them. Best summer of baseball ever! Only thing I would have added is how this place relates to you. Season not over yet!

  7. I loved your description of Camden Yards, and with the playoff game coming on tonight, the first in 15 years, it really does show that Camden Yards is making history. However, maybe you could have added a personal experience you had at Camden Yards to strengthen your point, so people other than O's fans can feel as if they are there.

  8. I like the history and tying in of current events, but it seems a little impersonal. Maybe a story of when you were there or if you always wanted to go but could not.

  11. I like how you described it as still making history, I thought that added a very nice touch. You should have given a personal experience you had at one of the games though.
